Photo Challange: MOTHERHOOD

This young, beautiful mother was left last year to face the challenges of motherhood all alone when her husband passed away unexpectedly from health complications.

When I think of motherhood, I think of my dear friend and her amazing strengh. I admire her whole heartedly and look forward to the new beginnings that are on the horizon for her and her son.

Look who's turning ONE

I am super excited about my newest investment for photography. I purchased a backdrop stand and a white backdrop to go with. As much as I love to work with natural light outdoors, the weather is not always cooperative causing us to have to look at other options for pictures. I found that my garage is great natural light source. I started out using a white sheet and an ironing board as a stand... but am proud to announce that I have formally upgraded!!

And I had the honor of trying out my new stuff with this sweet little guy who is turning ONE...

A Second Chance at LOVE...

The story of these two is a fairy tale of sorts. She raised two beautiful children as a single mom and then by chance, and a kiss in a bar, met a very amazing man that had a dream of starting a family with her. With the odds against them, she conceived after a having her tubes untied and these two beautiful friends of mine are to be wed this June.

Wishing them all the happiness in the world.

I have this friend. She has been my unconditional best since high school. She recently added a little bundle to her already wonderful family. I didn't think this family could get any more beautiful... But it did.
